ABOUT

BELIEF #1

Life is too short to do something that doesn't bring you joy.

BELIEF #2

We are all perfectly imperfect beings and shouldn't be afraid to show our flaws.

BELIEF #3

You are in control of your thoughts, actions, and destiny.

I'm Dr. Gholson

Most would describe me as a mom, wife, doctor, cancer survivor.  But in reality, I am so much more than the labels people assign me.  YOU ARE TOO.

Have you ever wondered what being "well" or "healthy" really means?  Do wish you had more time with your doctor to ask the questions you are afraid to ask?

Join me at Doctor at the Dinner Table where we discuss all the things I wish I had time to tell you in the exam room.

MY STORY

The daughter of divorced parents,  I grew up thinking that I had only one choice in life. Go to school, get a good job, and build a stable life for myself. And I did. But when I was 49 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then I year later I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and a very rare cancer of the appendix.  I spent my 50th birthday recovering from my first surgery and celebrated my 51st birthday in the hospital recovering from my last surgery.

After realizing that life was too short to things the normal way, I walked away from my traditional practice and did a deep dive into what brings me joy, how I can stay healthy and how can I still share important health information with my patients and the public. Thus Doctor at the Dinner Table was born.  It's my passion. And I learned that once you step into who you really are, there's no going back.

I will share with you everything I know and answer the questions you were always afraid to ask your doctor.  If you want help finding YOUR passion in life-let me know. I will help you with that too.
